Dad is doing great this morning, he’s probably missing me by now since the 2nd string has taken my place, haha!
If you know our crew then you know that we are all his favorite daughter! We all step in and work together to keep the ball rolling in the right direction.
They have started the new heart med regiment and he is doing well with it, thank you all for praying for him! They want him to be as healthy as possible for the next phase of the transplant so he will be able to do his best. They are sending him home today to let his body get used to everything and hopefully gain some strength. It is exciting, we are very excited to have he and mom both around for a bit.
We don’t have a definite on a date of when we will resume when the process, I will update when we know. Everyone’s guess right now is within the next 2 weeks. It is actually not uncommon to harvest your stem cells and then take a couple weeks before they begin the next phase.
This is very good news for all of us, but please continue to pray for them. Pray specifically that they remain healthy and well and don’t come into contact with any germs while they are away from Vandy.
Once again, thank you all so much for your care and concern for our entire family as we go through this awesome process together! We give all the glory to God in each step forward and each step in waiting that we take! And for each step back as well, as those have proven to be some of our most important steps in our journey thus far! We are already able to look at our days that seemed the hardest and realize that without those very important days we would not be in the great shape we are in today!
