Yes, if we really want the results we want with anything in life, we must be intentional. So, what is it you want out of your life?
I am discovering what I truly want, I want to be the best I can be and help others achieve the same thing. I want to leave a positive footprint everywhere I go. To achieve this, I have to be intentional, it’s not always easy. Life interrupts my positive vibes at times, so I must be ready and on alert every second.
I’m utilizing my armor 24/7, that is new for me, I used to only pick it up when I was struggling. Now, I’m learning that keeping it up all day every day is helping me reach my goals. I spend much of my time in God’s presence, His peace is changing my life.
So, I am issuing you a challenge for the day! We talked about this a bit at church yesterday and I have been pressing it into my youth for a few weeks now. It’s calling upon your intentionality!
Do something for someone today and expect absolutely nothing in return. If it can be done in anonymity, even better. It can be very simple or very elaborate:
- Open the door for someone
- Buy the cashier checking you out their favorite candy bar
- Pray for someone openly or privately
- Leave a sweet note for someone you love that needs a little love today
- Pay for the person behind you in line
The sky is really the limit. Have fun with it, and share it here if you want. I would love to hear your ideas and see how you intentionally made someone else’s day better by loving them unconditionally.
If we are going to make this world a better place, we have to be intentional. We can do it! Let it begin with each of us.
I hope your week is fabulous, we’re off to spend some fun time with my parents! I’m sure I will have some fun stories, memories and pictures to share from this week.
God Bless your week and your acts of intentionality!
