They say all good things must come to an end, I’m realizing that might not be so true. We are wrapping up one of the best trips that I have had thus far, the funnest parts were the spontaneous parts. Not the ones I arranged, hmm, I feel like I should not be surprised by this info. The moments all fell into place, we had great family time, new experiences, got to hang with the best, caught up with family like we had never missed a beat ( loved that Alley and Lloyd) *goal for 2017-18 to see you for longer than dinner.
We had such a great time and while the company was amazing and the memories are for a lifetime, I think one of the things that really made our trip was our attitude. We are growing and shaping ourselves into new roles, stepping into a new adventure. We have changed our outlook, we are no longer looking for the worst, but believing in God’s best for ourselves, expecting it and getting it!
God is not reigning above with an iron fist, He wants us to be happy. Being a happy, positive person, seeking to do good and fulfilling God’s will for our lives; I am finding that as I am trying to achieve this, He is doing so much more than I could ever expect. God is making our dreams into reality now that we are striving to walk in His will for our family. We have to remove our selfish ambitions, it’s a must. It is hard, humility is a goal of mine and it’s requiring a lot of me, my willpower and discipline but I have never felt so good.
My happiness is infectious, it radiates. I hope that you feel it and you share it! Go for the good, look for it. Don’t hang around waiting to be offended, hurt or upset. Seek the happiness that awaits you, I say this so much, because it is infectious. We all have voice in our own circles, and it is powerful. We have the choice to bring light or darkness into this life, what do you want to be known for?
So, for now this good thing is not coming to an end..we are moving forward in this life, expecting great things, doing great things and making this world into a better place. Do your part, don’t wait one more second!
Use the tools that you have, be intentional, love, go to battle fully armed. Each day is fresh, leave yesterday behind…and go big today!
Don’t go around keeping your tools put up, right by your side and not using them. Get them out, prepare yourself, utilize what you have access to. It’s like going to the beach and leaving your sunscreen in your beach bag and not using it, what happens. You get a sun burn! Don’t get burned, go prepared, use your weapons and protect yourself. (Couldn’t help but use this metaphor, it of course happened to me and my crew)
So many times, we know what we should do but just don’t. Stop that cycle today, go all in! Step out of your comfort zone and grow. The first step is the hardest and when you pick up speed, keep on going and never look back.
This good thing will never come to an end, we’re going to keep our momentum up until we get to the finish line, running right into the arms of Jesus.
God bless peeps…embrace all that God has for you today…after all He is the one who knows you better than anyone else.
