Today is the day! I’m so excited to begin this Christmas season with Giving. I thought I would share some of our ideas so you could use them if you want. Here is the link to our calendar in case you missed it yesterday.
Our Day 1 was easy, send a package to Zac. He is my nephew serving in the Navy in Italy and won’t be here to celebrate Christmas with us. Therefore, we put together a simple package to show him some love. You could send a package to anyone you love that could use encouragement this year, even a stranger. Here is a link if you would like to send a box to a soldier currently serving.
Our Day 2 was fun and the boys both enjoyed it, so we sent two hugs. ❤ We jumped ahead and prepared our giving for the weekend.
They simply traced their hands and we cut them out and attached a string. They both chose their own messages to the recipients they wanted to send them to.
So, so far so good! I hope you see how simple and easy it is to bless the people we are surrounded with. It is fun to think of ways you can serve others.
I have been slowly acquiring things we can use and have kept it very simple. Here is our ‘blessing’ table. I find it easier to complete any task before me if I am equipped. Can’t wait to see how we use everything.
I hope you are encouraged to step out of the norm to show some love to the ones you encounter today. You may be the only Jesus they ever see. ❤
I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26
God Bless! Nat
